Our Story

Empowering Women Dreams

Arusha Women in Business Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (AWIB SACCOS) was established in 2003 in Arusha, Tanzania, as a community-based initiative to empower women entrepreneurs and business owners.

The idea emerged from a group of visionary women who saw the need for a cooperative institution that could help them pool resources, access affordable credit, and save for future business and personal growth.
